Case Study: Regional Data Mart Improvement
Aquire partnered with the CDC and a CDC Partner County to tackle data quality challenges within their data mart. By implementing a robust data quality framework, reconciling errors from the state’s public health agency, and providing clear reporting to stakeholders, Aquire ensured accurate, reliable data for public health decision-making. Data was processed using Python and SSMS, stored in SQL Server, visualized in Tableau, and delivered to epidemiologists for analysis—enabling faster, data-driven insights to improve community health outcomes.
Case Study: Leveraging Data for Sheltering During COVID-19
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Aquire partnered with a key client in New York City tasked with providing essential housing for over 40,000 healthcare workers, shelter staff, and discharged patients requiring quarantine or isolation services. Aquire pioneered the implementation of Google BigQuery to efficiently warehouse intake data for individuals in need of housing assistance. Leveraging this foundation, we tailored advanced LookML data modeling and architectural services, seamlessly integrated with automated reporting functionalities in Looker. We also extended our expertise to deliver a program evaluation of the housing project, utilizing R, to provide a foundation to build similar programs across the US.
